Abstract
The objective of the present work is to apply a dynamic mathematical model, of stochastic nature, in the simulation of the adhesion rate to the national public irrigation system. This model, by incorporating an adjustment process with error correction mechanism, allows the identification and simulation of the adhesion rate over time, from the short to the long term, through the mathematical lag operator. The adjustment of the model was made using the method initially developed by the German mathematician Gauss (1775-1855).

Abstract
The deployment of radio access networks that provide coverage to mobile phones has followed the progress of the available technologies, with the GSM, UMTS and LTE systems being available in combination, and 5G being in preparation. The exponential increase in traffic generated by mobile phone users requires dense deployments of high-cost radio stations. On the other hand, traffic suffers strong geographic and temporal variations, which require dynamic networks. New challenges arise for future networks, solutions that are scalable, dynamic and efficient. The networks of the future will be efficient and heterogeneous, sharing their resources among various operators. Its components will be software-based, using virtualization and the cloud paradigm to use resources in a flexible way. This will enable minimization of costs, and faster deployment and upgrade of networks. Only then will it be possible to respond to an increasingly intense and demanding use.

Abstract
The empirical study, based on a qualitative research methodology, centered on multiple consulting / training case studies, was carried out under the Post-Doctoral project in Educational Sciences, at the Faculty of Education and Psychology, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, entitled "Collaborate to Innovate in Vocational Education", and intends to respond to the guiding question from the beginning: What training strategies can promote the change of teacher practices in the classroom and guarantee the quality of vocational education training? This qualitative research followed the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) - an approach to positive change that has been used successfully in communities and organizations around the world, noted in the literature by several authors [1][2][3]- based on the Cycle AI-5 D, consisting of five development phases: Define, Discovery, Dream, Design, Delivery (Destiny).Theories of research-actioncollaborative and reflexive education of [4], [5] [6] supported the workshop model of intervention and external consulting. The results show that the formative strategies have caused very significant impacts in terms of innovation and transformative effects, in the ways of thinking and acting professionals of the directors, teachers and trainers of schools with VET.

Abstract
Behavioural modelling is a new branch of Artificial Intelligence as well as Modelling and Simulation, lacking knowledge about the human decision-making process, which is not always obvious or rational, but dependent of emotions. When addressing the specific field of emergency situations and preparedness, for instance, when facing a fire, there is high degree of uncertainty regarding the actions that people do. To make it possible to elicit such knowledge it is proposed the use of Serious Games as a behavioural elicitation tool, to validate existing knowledge or elicit new behavioural information. This paper depicts the experiments made at LIACC. Using hypothetical scenarios, the user faces emergency situations impelling to take some action. Those scenarios were conceived and validated by experts, using the Delphi method and afterwards implemented using Unity3D. The experiments devised were tested using different user groups: adults in general, children and senior citizens. Results might be used by experts to test new hypothesis or confirm existing ones, and to feed pedestrian simulators.

Abstract
The aim of this research is to identify and build theoretical criteria in the determination of sustainability factors and evaluation models in this area of social solidarity institutions. A mixed method was used, based on two questionnaires: one for 138 social solidarity institution users and the other for 97 members of those institutions. To obtain qualitative data in the different areas under analysis, institution managers and local public authorities were also interviewed. The research produced knowledge that makes it possible to define seven new theoretical sustainability criteria: 1) support needs; 2) access to services; 3) suitability and quality of services; 4) culturality; 5) user satisfaction; 6) empowerment of institutions; and 7) relevance of the institutions. It also broadens two criteria already included in the literature: 1) interaction with society [and the state]; and 2) organisational structure [and functioning].

Abstract
With the advent of the Internet and the enhancement of personal use technologies (eg computer, television, mobile devices) the way we interact with each other and the way how we consume information and content (whether educational or entertainment) has changed. This article intends to address three aspects underlying digital devices, presenting different interaction mechanisms used, the way in which digital content is consumed today and the impact that these behaviours have on product and content development itself, addressing also and with more focus on the cognitive effects (positive and negative) of the use of technologies such as television, the Internet and, in a general way, day-to-day technological devices
