Abstract

This paper presents a new adequacy of Augmented Reality technology for end-users in outdoor environments. To find gaps on field is made a research in state of the art, survey technology characteristics, and end-user’s preferences to adequate hands-free interactions, and amount of information in outdoor activities. A continuous adaptation of information is needed due to environmental, contextual and activity differences and avoid information overload. It brings significant improvements over current Augmented Reality portable systems. This work presented here has profound implications for technology acceptance, because it only presents an added value when provide acceptance and agility with hands-free interactions, be it touristic, sportive, leisure or gaming activities.

Abstract

Cloud Computing has changed the paradigm of traditional computing, freeing end users and companies from having their own computing resources. Instead, users have access to seemingly unlimited resources, with great availability and reliability, in a transparent and ubiquitous way, using thin clients through the internet. In this article, the NIST Cloud Computing definition is presented, describing its characteristics, services and implementation models. Some considerations are made regarding traditional computing and the advantages of Cloud Computing, which was made possible with the development of technologies such as Grid Computing and Virtualization. Economies of scale, transparent engineering and user focus are the key features of Cloud Computing success.

Abstract

The emergence of the smartphone as a highly complex technology was accompanied by mobile operating systems (OS), large developer communities, content providers and complex networks, forming together digital infrastructures. These smartphones have become powerful devices being basically miniature versions of personal computers. Multiple factors have had a significant effect on the evolution of these platforms including graphical user interfaces, development platforms, business models and value extraction principles. However, the growing popularity and sophistication of smartphones has also heightened concern about the privacy of users using these devices.

Abstract

These days many organizations are adopting SOA architectures (Service Oriented Architecture) to consume services form of Web Services. The purpose of the use of the SOA architecture is to allow the interconnection of applications that are implemented in different locations beyond the boundaries of the Organization in heterogeneous and distributed environments. This architecture can revolutionize the way that organizations compete, speeding up decision-making and take advantage of market opportunities. Based on the literature review, of this work discuss the main motivations and benefits of adoption of SOA architecture. This work describes the results of a survey which had as central study object-oriented software architecture (SOA), which identified the main motivations and benefits in adopting this architecture. Will also be addressed in this work, the types of services associated with the SOA as the reference model for SOA-OASIS. At the end of this work, a tool available from IBM organizations that streamlines the implementation of SOA-based projects such as the benefits in adopting an architecture of this type.

Abstract

We will briefly review the different sub programming techniques and data access used in subprograms in different reference programming languages, since there are languages that implement only one approach, but there are others that require two approaches. With this article, we will try to clarify these aspects.
